About me

I received my MS degree in Moscow and worked in Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia. Since 1995 I have resided in Mexico. There I obtained diploma from National University of Mexico “Spanish (as the second language)” and another diploma “Archaeological Studies” (Estudios Arqueológicos) in National School of History and Anthropology of Mexico (Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia). I haven’t been professional teacher, but being a mother of 3 children (three of them are fluent in their native and 3 foreign languages) and a constant learner myself, I am passionate about education. I love to teach children, to interact with them through their learning process, to make them comfortable with the skills they have, and to motivate them to acquire new knowledge. As a former resident of Mexico, I am fluent in both spoken and written Spanish. As a Spanish teacher, I would not only be able to provide training and educational support, but due to my extensive knowledge of Mexican and Latino-American history, culture, traditions, and art, I can be a resourceful guide to them on different aspects of Spanish language and culture. I believe that in modern world with general globalization, that technology provides us, the knowledge of foreign languages is crucially important. It brings children a cultural diversity, joy, self-confidence. It helps children to become an open-minded, understanding individual and gives them fantastic eye-opening experience to see the world from different perspective and understand where they and others come from.
