About me

My vision is that the Science class has two major objectives. First, it serves as a foundation for the further studying of physics, mathematics, and chemistry. Second, it provides scholars with the basic knowledge of surrounding world which allows them to feel comfortable in various life situations.

My pedagogical goal is to introduce the scientific approach for problem solving to the children. It often allows children to discover their interest in science and help them to decide if they want to pursue corresponding career.

I obtained PhD in Chemistry in Belarus from the Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry of Academy of Sciences. After that I moved to United States and graduated from Stony Brook University with PhD in Materials Science. I currently work as a research scientist in Stem Cell Facility and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical and Molecular Engineering at Stony Brook University. I’m also Adjunct Professor at Suffolk County Community College where I teach chemistry.
