SPANISH/ ITALIAN FUN CLASSES!!!

My name is Mrs. Villacis. I am a professional Foreign Language Teacher of Spanish and Italian and I also posses a MA in Spanish Education from Stony Brook University. All credentials are evaluated according to the NY State Department of Education.

I am a conscientious, dedicated individual with the ability to work independently as well as with others. My background as native Spanish speaker and willingness to learn new techniques will enable me to complement your work setting. I have completed my graduate studies here in New York State; however, I had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador, to study at the university level via a SUNY New-Paltz summer program. This experience has enhanced my educational abilities as well as reinforced my desire to share the Spanish language and culture with others.

It is my pleasure to announce that starting September on the next school year, I will be part of School Nova staff, and I'm looking forward to meeting all my future students as well as their parents. I have a vast experience working with students of different levels of Spanish and Italian. Therefore, I would like to welcome all my new students as well as parents to whom I cordially invite them to work as a team. I am very sure that we will have so much fun not only learning new languages, but also learning a very broad Latin Culture (music, costumes, traditions, etc.). In class, we will have many fun activities such as, singing, dancing, food, films and more.

Again, I would like to invite parents and future students to join our sessions. Next school year we will offer classes for beginners and/or intermediate- levels of Spanish and/or Italian, which will enhance student's knowledge to pass the NY State require exams. In the past, I have prepared students for NYS Regents and Proficiency exams. I also have been a volunteer for teaching ESL in the South Country community.

I have worked at South Country Central School District and Lake Grove School as a full time teacher of Spanish and Italian at the Middle and High School levels.

I enjoy very much working with children; I am very well organized and professional. I believe we will all have a fun time!
