About me

I graduated from Stony Brook University with a M.A.T. in Earth science education and a B.S. in biology with a minor in geology. I work as a 7th grade science teacher during the academic year. During the summer I work as research assistant in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences.

No matter what your interests are, math is an essential skill for higher-order thinking and for communicating ideas. Just like anything, mathematics can be mastered with dedication and practice. My goal as a teacher at School Nova is to inspire a love for learning using lessons that are both challenging and fun for children.
